Love Pregnant With Coogan's Baby?

Beans on toast, fish and chips (or even fishfingers and marmalade) - but every now and then a bizarre pairing comes to our attention and perplexes us enormously.

The recent revelations that Courtney Love and Steve Coogan had a two-week fling is one such odd coupling.

But it doesn't stop there... Courtney claims that she is, in fact, now pregnant with Steve's child.

The Alan Partridge star has rubbished her claims, with his spokeswoman saying: "It's nonsense."

But Courtney told the News Of The World: "I am pregnant with Steve's baby, but I'd rather not talk about our friendship."

Courtney LoveCourtney was ordered into a 28-day rehab programme last week, after admitting using drugs while on probation. She will be sentenced on 16 September.

Steve's marriage to Caroline Hickman came to an end last month after she divorced him on grounds of unreasonable behaviour. Last year he admitted cheating on her with two lap dancers.

Courtney is already a mother to 11-year-old Frances Bean - her daughter with the late Kurt Cobain and also had a long-term relationship with actor Edward Norton.
