She's ditched Blighty for sunnier Californian climes.
But Hollywood hasn't taught Lucy Davis much about Yank-speak.
The 34-year-old, best known for playing Dawn Tinsley in The Office alongside Ricky Gervais, has gone all Hollywood with her new role in Matthew Perry's Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip.
But there's one slight glitch.
She's terrible at the American accent.
Lucy told the Daily Express: "I can't do an American accent to save my life.
"I've had so many lessons but I just sound a bit less like Mary Poppins."
It didn't seem to do Ashley Jensen - formerly of Extras and now a star of Ugly Betty - any harm.
We wonder if Lucy - who has already appeared in Ugly Betty - will follow in Ashley's footsteps and have a full LA Tinseltown makeover? Watch this space...
