Madonna in a Ford Cortina?
A chauffeur driven limo, a helicopter or even her top-of-the-range mountain bike we could understand.
But it's true. Her Madge has plumped for the classic British boy racer in her latest pop vid, Sorry.
The song is taken from the hit album Confessions On A Dance Floor and follows hot on the heels of her No.1 single, Hung Up.
The video takes its inspiration from MTV's cult show Pimp My Ride.
She asked a team of experts to turn a Ford Cortina into a flashy blingmobile and Pimp My Ride host Tim Westwood makes a cameo appearance in the video.
A source told The Sun: "Madonna really loves the MTV show. She wanted to do a video with a rags-to-riches story, taking a battered British banger and turning it into something special.
"Her record company contacted the producers behind Pimp My Ride and they came up with a storyboard and car for the video."
Madge has asked the Pet Shop Boys to remix the new song.
She met Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe at a party and told them she thought they were "brilliant".
Maybe the finished car will have a pair of disco mirror balls instead of furry dice?
