On a brand new gym.

Not one for half measures, the Daily Mail reports that the £6m house Madonna bought right next door to her central London residence has now been converted into a state-of-the-art fitness centre.

It's believed she wanted to knock one property into the other, but wasn't able to get the planning permission.

So, being the determined lady she is, Madge has doggedly continued with her workouts.

With the slight catch that now every time she fancies going to the gym, she has to take a hike on the outside pavement for 20 yards in order to get from one building to the other.

So devoted is Madge to her regular routine that a small crowd of locals have now apparently gathered to watch the star as she cruises down the pavement.

Not sure we'd fancy the scrutiny as we trog to and forth from the gym in a pair of old trakkies.

But hey, who are we to pipe up? Our half-hearted efforts at a jogging round the park pale in comparison to building one's own gym.

Madge seems to be sticking to our New Year resolution better than we are.
