Madge's Traffic Warden Battle

MadonnaThe average London driver likes to whinge about the cost of the Congestion Charge and parking in the capital.

But not Madonna. The Material Mum's racked up £2,500 worth of fines after parking wherever she darn well pleases.

According to the Daily Mail, Madge seems to think nothing of picking up a £50 parking fine during each of her twice weekly gym visits.

But when you're worth around £235million, who can blame her.

The paper reports that Madonna gets her chauffeur to wait on a single yellow line while she undergoes "rack" sessions with her fitness trainer James D'Silva.

And of course the dodgy parking gets her a ticket every time.

"Madonna's driver has started getting really irate. He says to them, 'You know I can't move, you know what I'm here for, so if you're going to ticket me just get on with it and get out of here'."

It's thought the star started using her mountain bike to get to the gym for a while, to avoid a run in with the wardens, but since her riding accident she's gone back to the car.

If Mrs Ritchie pays her fines on time the charge will only be £50 a pop, but if she leaves it more that 14 days she'll have to pay the full £100 whack.
