Madonna's adoption of Malawian baby David is not going as smoothly as she'd hoped.
The superstar is reportedly facing protests from several charities and human rights groups.
The organisations claim that not only are non-Malawi residents not allowed to adopt the country's children, but also that when children are adopted the process should take several months.
Madonna is said to have put pressure on authorities to fast-track her adoption of 13-month-old David Banda.
The Sun reports that child welfare campaigners were also furious after finding out that Madonna had a photo of David emailed to her along with those of 11 other children, before she met any of them.
Madonna is hoping to return to Malawi within the next week to bring David home, as he was unable to leave with her due to an issue with his passport.
