It seems that, having been given a lil' nudge from the man who's down with the kids (we're chatting Snoop Dogg here), Victoria Beckham has christened her hubby in the new "ghetto-ise" version of his name...

Since Dave is from the streets (of Manchester/ Madrid/ Los Angeles) and all.

A source told The Sun: "Snoop thought the name David was a bit boring, and he wasn't too impressed by Becks either."

(We're guessing he avoided Golden Balls for obvious reasons).

We're feeling another career may be calling Becks - sorry D Beck - post-footie here.

We can just imagine Snoop Dogg's the opening lines to new rap: "And next on the mic is my man D Beck - c'mon, man, sing that song."
