Move aside, Pete Doherty.
Somebody has filled your grubby shoes.
Everybody give a warm Showbiz welcome to Jamie Bell.
It seems to have been his lucky day.
Why?
Well, it's not everyday that you get plucked out of the crowd to perform a song with Babyshambles.
And don't think he was merely on backing vocals.
Nope, he was running the show.
Jamie, a bonafide fan of the band, was picked to front the band at their performance at the NME Awards launch party in London.
After Pete Doherty pulled out at the last minute.
But it seems Jamie handled took it all in his stride and did the band, and himself proud.
Kudos to you Jamie.
