There's nothing new in bashing someone else in order to make yourself feel a bit better - and clearly celebrities are no different.
Former Spice Girl, Mel C, has blasted fellow pop artist Britney Spears for her dress sense.
She's spoken out, branding Britney "overtly sexual."
Mel C says she is appalled at Brit's massive transformation from innocent schoolgirl to raunchy star.
Poor delicate Mel said: "Britney's gone too far. I find it really shocking.
"She's overtly sexual in everything she does. I see her and I think: 'Put it away, love.'"
It's true that since Britney first appeared on the pop scene in 1999, her image has changed and she rarely wears pigtails and school skirts anymore - but she's also no longer 18.
The 23-year-old has managed to transform herself into a veritable sex symbol - albeit a slightly trashy one - with the aid of skimpy bras and corsets.
But with her albums and world tours selling out, she must be doing something right.
