Mel BMel BIt was the dance-off we'd all been waiting for.

Nope, not Mel C or Geri Halliwell.

Rather, we're talking about the final of the American TV show, Dancing With The Stars.

The final saw our very own Mel competing against Brazilian racing driver, Helio Castroneves.

But, in the end it was Helio who took top honours and won the show.

Mel swanned into second place, but would've won if it had been up to the judges alone, who gave her the highest points.

For her final dance she chose the mambo, which earned her three 10s from the judges.

However, she lost on out viewer's votes, which counted for 50% of the final result.

Earlier on Mel said: "I've had so much fun, everyone's so cool here. It's been an amazing journey."

There to support her were the other Spice lasses, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, Mel C and Victoria Beckham.
