It was definitely a case of too much too young for American Pie Mena Suvari - the 26-year-old star has just announced she is getting divorced.
The actress, who married at just 21, has cited irreconcilable differences with cinematographer husband Robert Brinkmann.
Mena, best known for her roles in American Beauty and American Pie, filed for divorce after five years of marriage.
She met Robert on the set of comedy Sugar And Spice and hit it off - despite their 17-year age gap.
After eloping in 2000, they married in a secret ceremony - just after Mena hit the big time in the Oscar nominated American Beauty.
Being a young divorcee isn't new in celebrity circles, Mena joins a long list including Britney Spears, Drew Barrymore, Billie Piper and Macaulay Culkin.
