Miley Cyrus Thought Miley Cyrus' near-nude mag pics were the scandal du jour?

The fresh-faced teen star is now being courted by none other than ageing Playboy king Hugh Hefner.

But is she really likely to take him up on his offer?

We doubt it's the kind of publicity she would want right at the mo, but Hugh's waded into the whole Miley-posing-sexily thing, by saying that he would like her to feature in his mag - when she's old enough, of course.

"She’d be welcomed in the magazine. Very pretty lady,” Hugh told Extra's celebrity news show.

The lady-loving fella then went on to criticise the recent furore created by 15-year-old Miley posing with nowt but a bedsheet for Vanity Fair, saying:

"I think to make such a big to-do over something as innocent as those photos, I think is a reflection on how schizophrenic America is about sexuality."Hugh Hefner

Wise words, Hugh.

But what will Miley make of it all?

The gal's done her best to hush over the controversy since it broke, apologising to fans and saying she initially believed the snaps would be "artistic".

Still, if she was racking her brains for a career choice come 18, then the offer's always there.

We doubt Hugh should hold his breath though.
