Mischa Barton has had her some news.
And it has ended a rather unpleasant chapter of her life.
She's been given the sentence for her drink-driving incident.
Mischa pleaded no contest to drink-driving in a plea deal reached with prosecutors, which has spared her jail time
She has instead been handed three years of unsupervised probation in a Beverly Hills courtroom.
In addition, a marijuana possession charge against Mischa was dropped - according to People this was due to the small amount found.
And finally another charge of driving without a licence was reduced to an infraction.
Her lawyer said outside the courtroom: "The DAs were very fair in handling this case.
"Mischa's glad the case has been resolved."
Mischa was ordered to complete a three-month alcohol-education class and pay a fine of approximately £1,000.
In a statement released after the hearing, her lawyer added: "Ms. Barton understands the seriousness of this situation and assumes full responsibility for her actions. She and I are grateful to the court and the district attorney’s office for the prompt and respectful resolution of the case."
