Mischa Barton has joined a not so exclusive Hollywood club...
She's been arrested for DUI - which is drink driving to us on this side of the pond.
Police authorities have confirmed that Mischa was arrested in West Hollywood early on Thursday morning.
She was pulled over just before 3am, after her vehicle allegedly straddled two lanes of traffic. Los Angeles County Sheriff Department also report she failed to signal when turning.
People reports Mischa was arrested for DUI and driving without a valid licence.
They quote police as saying: "During Ms Barton's detention, it was determined that she was an unlicenced driver and was driving while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage.
"Ms Barton was arrested and transported to West Hollywood Sheriff's station where the booking process was completed without incident."
They report bail was set at $10,000 (around £5,000) and the investigation is ongoing.
So far there has been no comment from Mischa's people.
