There's a new style queen on the block. She goes by the name of Nancy Dell'Olio.

In a recent interview with the Metro, the Italian former Wag modestly broadcast her existence as a fashion icon across Britain and indeed, the whole of Europe.

Not one to sell herself short, Nancy launched into a diatribe highlighting her many and enviable stylish attributes, saying:

"I'm seen as a fashion icon here and in other European countries and that's down to my personality and sense of elegance.

"I take care of many details. It's not the average thing you'd see on the street.

"Everywhere I go, it's a fact, people know it's not the dress wearing me, it's me wearing the dress."

These humble mutterings got us wondering - is there more to Nancy than dark hair and lashings of lip gloss?

Is she indeedy a fashion queen supreme, or does her enviable sense of self do half the style legwork for her?

We can't say we've ever been that enviable of her clobber.
