Think Natasha Bedingfield is all sugar and no spice?
Don’t go telling her that - you might just hit a nerve.
In a tersely worded MySpace web blog, the 26-year-old singer has defended her goodie-two-shoes title, writing:
"I’m aware that I’ve been labelled a good girl by some because I’m different to some of the other female artists - the main difference being I don’t do drugs and I’m doing my best not to be messed up."
Ouch.
Continuing her thinly veiled reference to certain other high-profile peeps in the music industry, Nat rants:
"Unlike some artists around I like to have fun just for the sake of it, not just to attract attention.
"This industry is so obsessed with image and what everyone thinks of you and I’ve found that you have to fight hard within yourself not to let it affect you."
Deep stuff.
