Hollywood hunk Colin Farrell has spoken out for the first time about the whole Boyzone thing. He rejects Louis Walsh's version that he didn't make the grade for the boy band. Still reeling from the worldwide flop of his toga movie Alexander, Colin told me: "It's not quite true actually the way Louis tells the story... I did audition for a part in Boyzone, but it didn't work out as I had terrible rhythm at the time but my singing voice was as good as the rest of the band. However, I turned them down as I really did want to become an actor and not a pop star."
Colin also says that we'll be able to see that he can sing when he shows off his vocal talents in the forthcoming big screen version of Miami Vice. He told me: "It's a little joke singing but fans will realize that I can hold a tune... it was really Boyzone's loss.
