Did you see the gooey pictures of Miss Congeniality star Sandra Bullock and the equally delicious Hugh Grant recently? Hugh - who told me directly that he hates the world of premieres and promotion - was there to support his favourite actress Sandra at the launch of her new comedy.
However, there was also another reason. The acting duo starred together in the rom-com Two Weeks Notice, which was a great success and was in fact a Ms Bullock production... fast forward a few years and we can disclose that it's now the turn of Hugh to take centre stage. He has written his first film script and it will star them both, although he told my mole: "Mine is not a huge part, as I plan to be more behind the camera on this project." Asked why he chose Sandra, he simply stated: "Because she is fabulous." Production starts later in the year.
