Movie star Minnie Driver is already planning to release a second album, even though the first, Everything I've Got In My Pocket, was not the most successful of debuts.

Minnie told my source: "Singing is my dream and, while it may have not been a commercial success, critically I was thrilled with the reception my first album got."

So far we don't know if her label, EMI/ Liberty, will be managing the album but, if not, Minnie says she'll release it direct to fans online.

Look out for a new movie from busy Minnie too. She told my mole: "It's a small, independent role that sees me move away from the type of roles I'm known for." Can't wait!
