Once upon a time Guy Ritchie asked to direct a Kaiser Chiefs music video - and was stunned when they said no. Now it appears the wind has changed and they're going to grant him his wish.

Ricky Wilson told me, "We never actually said no but we'd commissioned all the shoots for the singles in advance. We were blown away by his offer so we're looking into various ideas now."

The Brit-winning Chiefs plan to have a new album and single out in the spring.
