Tom Cruise thinks his good mate David Beckham could be a big movie star and wants to make a film with him.

Tom said: "The guy is so multi-talented and I'd welcome the chance to work with him on a movie.

"He would make a great baddy, playing against type, and it would be a sure fire box office hit."

David is even keener to hit Hollywood and may consider some acting once he gives up football: "... but only in roles that I think would suit me," he said.
