Leona Lewis shot to fame after winning last year's The X Factor. She recently enjoyed a long run at the top of the music charts, and even snagged a Brit nomination, too.

Now she's set to land an appearance during the semi-finals at the hit US show American Idol. It's currently the number one show in America which also stars her mentor, Simon Cowell.

Leona told me: "It's been like a dream since winning the show and I can hardly believe this is all happening."

Leona is proof that dreams do come true and there's no doubt the US will fall in love with her, too.
