She famously sang Look At Me as her first solo single... but her last club track Desire has sadly proved that we no longer desire Geri the ex-Spice Girl anymore.

Her latest album released less than two weeks ago will be out of the top 100 this week but fear not... Geri has a cunning plan. The ginger one is planning to take the musical stage by storm and has already auditioned for one major role in the musical Little Shop Of Horrors. Rumours are rife in theatre land that a stint with Old Vic boss Kevin Spacey is up next.

She told my spies: "I love the instant connection that theatre can bring and see this as my natural next step." She also sees Pop Idol boss Simon Cowell as the man who halted her pop career, after he attacked her last video on a TV chart show, she told me: "It was such a cruel thing to do."
