Clearly fed up with people nattering on about her weight, Nicole Richie has given the world something else to digest.
This time, it's her hair.
She's gone from sun-kissed Californian blonde to a slightly strange, autumnal leaf kind of shade.
It's not really ginger, it's not strawberry blonde, it's not mousy and it's not auburn - so what it is, is anyone's guess.
But while some of us enjoyed the weekend doing our cross-stitch and others - like Paris Hilton - spent it going from one party to another, Nicole spent it down the hair salon.
Or is it a wig?
Because the medium of online restricts our capacity to touch 'n' feel (or scratch 'n' sniff), we can't actually yank Nic's hair and assure you it's not a pretend version.
