Hip hip hooray - it's a bright old day in Celebville.
Cos Nicola Roberts has finally come to the conclusion that she's not a duckling.
She may even be a swan.
"For years I felt like the ugly one in Girls Aloud," Nicola told News Of The World mag Fabulous.
"I walked around looking unhappy and completely miserable because that's how I felt for such a long time," she continued.
"There I was - tall, skinny, with red hair and the whitest skin you've ever seen - standing next to four of the most gorgeous girls in Britain."
But, says Nic, after some soul-searching, she's finally learnt to embrace her unique looks.
"I like the fact I'm different," she said. "I like me. I might not always be smiling, but I'm happier than I've ever been."
It's been a long old road, but now she's come out the other end, we think it's time to look at Nicola's image crisis in pics.
