The temperamental reality star has spoken out about the "publicly humiliating" experience of being dumped by her fellow Housemate and BB7 winner, Pete Bennett.

Tourette's sufferer Pete, 24, split up with Nikki, saying she was "awful in bed" and "high maintenance".

But Nikki, 24, has revealed her heartache in an interview with New! magazine.

She said: "Pete wouldn't hurt an insect but he's totally destroyed me. He's made me feel like a piece of s***, a horrid person.

"I've struggled with self-hatred all my life. Now I've read the stuff him and his friends have been saying about me, I hate myself even more."

Nikki revealed that Pete ended their relationship over the phone, telling her: "I just need my space."

She continued: "What upset me most is he couldn't tell me how he felt when we were together or what I was doing wrong.

"Instead, he just let it carry on and then told a magazine why he dumped me."

Could there be a glimmer of hope for the former lovebirds?

Nikki added: "I love Pete unconditionally. He understood me. Well, I thought he did."
