Oprah For President?

So, we weren't that surprised about the speculation regarding the first lady of chat, Oprah Winfrey, having political ambitions.

However, Oprah has put a stop to all the talk of her becoming the first female US President by calling the rumours "damaging" to her reputation.

All the buzz has even inspired a book backing her bid, called Oprah For President: Run Oprah Run, by Kansas City businessman Patrick Crowe.

But Oprah's lawyers have asked that production of the book - and a website - be stopped.

The author told the New York Post: "I'm genuinely puzzled... How could asking her to run possibly cause (her) damage and irreparable injury?

"If Oprah asked you to run for President, would that be a compliment or would you threaten her with legal action?"
