Oscars: Renee Too Skinny?

But that doesn't mean the Oscar gossip has calmed down.

In fact, now that the "who wore what" chatter has dropped a bit, here's a list of other Oscar talking points...

• Some say Renee Zellweger looked mighty slim on the red carpet. Check her out in our gallery and see what you think?  
• Actor Gary Busey called into E! news host, Ryan Seacrest's radio show the morning after the Oscars to apologise for startling Jennifer Garner and Laura Linney while they chatted to Ryan on the red carpet. An eager Gary walked over and lunged at them, kissing Jen on the neck.  
• Tongues are wagging as to why former Oscar host Whoopi Goldberg was left out of a past Oscar host montage video which included the likes of Billy Crystal, Bob Hope and Chevy Chase. Chatting on The View, a hurt Whoopi said: "Undoubtedly I p****d somebody off again."  
• Her exclusion isn't the only talking point. A number of people are upset at the late Brad Renfro being left out of a video tribute to industry people who've passed away in the last year. A rep for the Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences told Us Weekly: "It really was an editing decision, because we can't fit everyone in. There was no specific reason." Brad died in mid-January.  
• Where, oh where, were the likes of TomKat, Will Smith, Scarlett Johansson, Brangelina, Catherine Z-J, Keira Knightley and a host of other A-listers who weren't at the awards?  
• Are Orlando Bloom and Rumer Willis pals and we never knew? Reports are alleging the pair looked friendly at a post-Oscars bash.  
• For the first time ever (sob) George Clooney brought a girlfriend, in the form of Sarah Larson, to the ceremony. Only because we turned him down, you understand.  
• We were nearly jealous, but not really when Daniel Day-Lewis gave George a kiss. Daniel said afterwards: "I had to kiss someone. I had kissed my wife so in the interests of parity I had to kiss George." We understand. Totally.  
• Romance rumours abounded as Sean Penn and Petra Nemcova pitched up together at Elton John's Oscar bash.  
• Oscar host Jon Stewart cracked an Angelina Jolie preggers joke, saying: "And the baby goes to... Angelina Jolie. I'm stunned. Angelina couldn't be with us tonight, it's tough to get 17 babysitters on Oscar night."  
• A preggers Cate Blanchett let on she's having a little boy. She told People: "He's actually asleep, believe it or not, which bodes well."
