That is the shock verdict from Sky Showbiz's Online exclusive poll - with nearly half telling her to stay away from the ailing soap.
It will come as a blow to the veteran Carry On star who revealed last week that she has made a full recovery from illness and is raring to get back to work.
A whopping 46% of you were in agreement that Babs should not reprise her role as fiesty Peggy Mitchell.
Only 31% felt Babs should make a comeback while 23% were undecided.
EastEnders has had a horror year, being routed by Coronation Street at the National TV awards and seeing viewing figures slip to as low as 6.2m.
