But Owen Wilson has gone out of his way to make sure that people understand the reality of his current dating status - rather than the tabloid version.
His latest words come just days after threatening to sue anyone who accused him of being a reason behind Kate Hudson's recent marriage collapse.
Now Owen's making it clear there isn't even a hint of romance between him and his You, Me And Dupree co-star Kate:
"I'm single despite what people say. I think hopefully that I'll meet someone that I'll want to have a family with, that's what I would like," he stated.
Step this way, Owen. We'd be more than happy to fulfil your wishes.
