Pen's Secret Dinner Date

OK, so we're not positive if Penelope Cruz and Josh Hartnett are more than "just friends"...

But the two have been spotted going to extreme lengths to keep a recent dinner date under wraps.

In Touch magazine reports Pen and Josh tried to get a private table at the trendy Los Angeles restaurant El Coyote last week...

However, after learning all the rooms were taken, the duo hit up a different hotspot, The Little Door, where they asked for the secluded Blue Room.

After dinner, a source told the mag the couple then left through separate doors to avoid being papped together.
