This time next week Pete Doherty will be as free as a bird.
Yup, Pete's on his way out...
The Sun says he'll be going home after serving just 29 days of his 14-week sentence.
According to the paper Pete's sentence has been halved and a further 18 days deducted from it as part of a scheme introduced a while ago to help over-crowding in jails.
They also say he's getting an additional two days knocked off the final amount because of time he spent in police custody.
Bet Pete's smiling at all of this news.

Big Brother rapmeister Darnell Swallow swaps his trademark baseball togs for an orange jumpsuit, as he lines up for an official snap in a US police department.
The 26-year-old served jail time in America in March 2006 after violating probation over minor drugs charges.
Darnell has made a few oblique references to his murky history in the house, telling contestants: "Damn, I have a past that none of you know. I’ve been to jail, man."
