She told Now magazine: "Adopting is just as beautiful as having your own.

"I rescue dogs, so why not rescue children?"

When asked if married life had changed her, she said not much, as her touring schedule has kept her on the road of late.

Ms Britney Spears was also a topic of conversation, with Pink telling the mag she wasn't sure she'd be writing any songs for Brit anytime soon.

She explained: "Not because I don't like her - I do think she's crazy enough to do one of my songs.

"But it's very hard for me to let go of my songs and the only people I write for are real singers - not that she's not a real singer, but she's more of an entertainer."

She continued, saying: "When I mean real singer, I mean the likes of Lauryn Hill, Faith Hill - and I'd write for Amy Winehouse, because you need a serious attitude to carry off the dumb stuff I write about."
