Ellen DeGeneres' new girlfriend, Portia De Rossi, is understood to be removing all traces of her previous lover after their split.
Portia, 31, left Francesca Gregorini, stepdaughter of Ringo Starr, earlier this month.
Pagesix.com reported that the Aussie Ally McBeal star has now booked in to see a dermatologist and have the tattoo 'FG' removed from her ring finger.
She is now understood to have moved in with chat show host Ellen, 46, in LA.
Ellen, 46, also ended her four-year relationship with photographer and director Alexandra Hedison this month.
Pamela Anderson is another star to rue having a finger tattoo - she had a wedding band tattoed on when she tied the knot with hubby Tommy Lee.
Johnny Depp famously altered a 'Winona Forever' tattoo to say 'Wino Forever' after breaking up with actress Winona Ryder.
