No one says bras have to be made out of metal.
Even the big dictionary just describes them as an "undergarment worn by women".
But somewhere along the line of things you pick up as you grow up is that bras that are tres skimpy and through which you can see your nipple should only really be worn in the bedroom.
These bedroom bras encompass a whole heap of non-functional bosom carriers, which usually don't do much in the way of covering up or support...
But they should only be worn outside the confines of one's own home if there is a statement to be made.
So exactly what is Victoria Beckham trying to say with this effort as she pops out for the night in LA?
We imagine it goes something along the lines of:
"My name is Victoria Beckham. I am uber famous. Move over Hollywood types because I am here and I am here to stay. And yes, I do have the perkiest of nipples and they are also here to stay. Please make us feel welcome."
Can Hollywood cope with Posh's eye-catching nips? Should she really be wearing such a sheer bra and top on a night out?
