Pregnant Victoria Beckham has signed a deal to create a range of clothing for top US label Rock & Republic.
Far from taking it easy as she expects her third child, the former Spice Girl is getting to work on her new range - and will include trendy maternity wear in her designs.
She has been brainstorming on "washes and finishes" and will co-design jeans, skirts and exclusive knits. "I've always been interested in fashion - it's something which comes very naturally to me," she said.
"Being involved with Rock & Republic in this way, creatively, behind the scenes is something I'm really looking forward to."
Music appears to be firmly at the bottom of her list of priorities after her latest failed bid for solo chart success. Her last track This Groove/Let Your Head Go, only got to No3 and all her songs with hip hop mogul Damon Dash were ditched.
Victoria was signed up after "hitting it off instantly" with designer Michael Ball in Los Angeles in May.
He said: "She not only understands fashion and trends but has been a trend-setter and fashion icon for years."
The singer will make promotional appearances in Asia and the US during Los Angeles fashion week, followed by London and Tokyo, to launch the collection of five styles.
Actress Cameron Diaz and singers Usher and Avril Lavigne are big fans of the label.
