But Charlotte Church has been getting a mite fed up with the press, according to her mum.

Maria Church says the 19-year-old singing sensation is harassed "morning, noon and night" by the paparazzi.

She stormed: "If she's out and about in town or the centre of London it can be very, very aggressive.

"I've been with Charlotte when we've been pushed, stamped on, anything to get that photo.

"I have no respect for them whatsoever, I don't see it as a job," added the 39-year-old, before branding the paparazzi "absolute scumbags".

"She's a bit better with it now, but about a month ago it was really getting her down and really making her depressed."

Maria also added her daughter "wouldn't listen" to past warnings about unsuitable boyfriends.

She is now dating Welsh rugby hero Gavin Henson - and so far mum approves.
