Now, we love the Desperate Housewives.
And we would be willing to fork out some cash in order to be able to see the third series.
However, our funds wouldn't extend beyond, say, three figures, four at a push.
So imagine our mouths agape when we read that Channel 4 have signed a £20m - yes that's 20 MILLION pounds - to keep the show on their network.
This makes it one of the most expensive purchases in TV history.
The first two series of the Wisteria Lane drama were bought for a measly £200,000 per episode.
But Teri, Eva and gang are now worth £900,000 per show. Pretty impressive, you'll agree.
