Jarvis Cocket may look like Harry Potter - and now he's set to write the soundtrack for the next film.
The geeky Pulp frontman has been signed up to pen the music for Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire
Movie bosses apparently wanted a trendy British musician to score the new film, the fourth in the Potter series.
Music for the previous films was written by John Williams, the composer behind Jaws, Star Wars and Indiana Jones.
But British director Mike Newell - of Donnie Brasco and Four Weddings And A Funeral fame - wanted a fresh sound.
He asked cast members including Daniel Radcliffe - Harry in the films - to come up with a shortlist of candidates.
And Jarvis - whose hits include Common People and Help The Aged - came out on top.
A film insider told the paper: "He is a very talented musician who is a big fan of movies and knows exactly how they work.
"You may just think Jarvis is the bloke in specs who fronted Pulp but he is a man with many hidden depths."
