And have to admit we weren't too sure what to make of Renee Zellweger.
We heart her character roles. But the lady herself was a wee bit of an enigma.
Yet she's made us eat our words.
Yeppers, we've been dished up a super-sized portion of humble pie.
And Renee's big hearted gesture has skyrocketed her up our fave celeb listing.

Make-up artist Wendy Faracino was ogling a pair of v gorge and expensive Manolo Blahnik's at the Saks Fifth Avenue department store when she bumped into Renee.
The twosome then had a bit of a girly chat about shopping and both went their merry way.
Barely 15 mins after getting back to work, Wendy was met by the manager of the shoe department with a gift-wrapped box.
(Cue the heart-warming music).
Then he handed it over to her and said: "These are with the compliments of Renee Zellweger."
Low and behold - there were the very same pair of heels.
Mr shoe man added: "She wanted you to have them."
Consider our the cockles of our shopaholic hearts nicely warmed.
