Rhydian Gets A Girl

Rhyd has landed something - or rather, someone - completely different.

The platinum-haired crooner has found love, and it's all thanks to Si - in a round about way, that is.

Chatting to Hello! magazine, Rhydian revealed he has a girlfriend.

The lucky lady is Julia Carta, who is, would you adam and eve it, none other than Simon Cowell's make-up artist.

Tis true.

He told the magazine: "We met during The X Factor. She's Simon Cowell's make-up artist, in fact, and I fancied her when we were making the show last year."

We've done our homework, however, and found that Simon's isn't the only famous mug Julia's worked her magic on - she's also applied slap to the likes of Sienna Miller and Keira Knightley.

Rhyd continued: "She's half-Spanish and very beautiful, with dark hair and olive skin. I was also attracted to her because of her lovely personality.

"We're gradually getting to know one another properly and I'm very happy. She's 12 years older than me, but that's fine with us both."
