Well, anyway, enough of that.
But straight from the horse's mouth, Richard himself admitted that he found boxer shorts, y-fronts and the like "incredibly hot", adding that he enjoyed "the freedom and feel of air".
Lovely.
And just in case you haven't yet had enough detail with this story, Richard's wife and TV sidekick Judy Finnigan added some weight to the cosy anecdote. The Sun newspaper reports that she confirmed:
"Richard's undercarriage flaps freely."
Judy also added a word of warning, saying those who might feel inclined to follow Richard's lead should go easy when they cross their legs otherwise "you risk squeezing something".
Delightful, simply delightful.
