The Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King has been voted the best film of the year.
The third and final film in the series topped a poll by viewers of the BBC's Film 2004 show, hosted by Jonathan Ross.
Its win completed a hat-trick for the Tolkein trilogy after the first two films topped the polls in 2002 and 2003.
Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, starring Kate Winslet and Jim Carrey, was second, while another film in which Winslet starred, Finding Neverland, was third.
The diverse list included low-budget British hit Shaun of the Dead and Chinese martial arts epic Hero.
Blockbusters such as Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban and Spider-Man 2 also featured.
