But has the young star gone all prudish on us?

Lindsay is just avoiding flashing her pins at the moment because they are so covered in bruises... from pole dancing.

But before you get carried away thinking this is all because Lindsay has found herself a new profession, prepare to be disappointed.

It's all because Linds is playing a stripper in her next movie, I Know Who Killed Me, so she's just putting in the practice now.

"I've been in pole dancing lessons, S Factor by Sheila Kelley, every day for four hours. I have bruises all over. That's why I haven't worn shorts," she told People.

Her rep, Leslie Sloane, confirmed to the New York Post: "Her character is a stripper, and she now realises that the job isn't easy."

But Lindsay isn't the first celeb to take up a bit of pole action, other fans include Kate Hudson, Teri Hatcher and Carmen Electra.
