Scarlett Johansson. A frock. A premiere. Her Majesty's customs.
We just couldn't make this stuff up...
Let us clarify.
Known for her figure-hugging, bosom-boosting frocks, Scarlett Johansson was all set to have the crowds gawping with a gorge dress at the Match Point London premiere this weekend.
But the glamorous plan was foiled after a frankly bizarre incident in which customs refused to allow the dress into the country.
Instead, Scarlett was left to find a new frock and, what with it being a last minute thing, ended up with a rather dowdy affair compared to her usual efforts.
At the premiere, the blonde actress said:
"I didn't plan to wear this dress. The one I wanted to wear was flown in today but it was confiscated by British customs."
Why exactly it was held by airport officials is unknown.
Could it have shown too much cleavage perhaps? Or did it make Scarlett fatally attractive?
