It's come from the horse's mouth that Scarlett Johansson has taken the plunge with someone.

Yep, along with the rest of us - Scar has been spouting off, and it whiffs of the love stuff...

She told Associated Press: "I am engaged to Barack Obama."

But we think she's either deluded or telling big fat porkies.

Why?

Firstly, she simply couldn't be Mrs Obama, because somebody has already beaten her to it.

And secondly, it's a rather blatant side step to avoid us nosy parkers asking questions about an engagement to her current beau, Ryan Reynolds.

We have to hand it to her, it's pretty quick thinking.
