Things took a turn for the scary on the set of Shayne Ward's new pop video.
The X Factor winner nearly became an extra in a whole different type of shoot.
Shayne narrowly avoided getting caught in the crossfire of a drive-by shooting in downtown LA - just feet from the video set for new single No Promises.
The singer was "severely shaken", but was more concerned about the members of his film crew.
A crew member told the Daily Mirror: "The location has a bit of a reputation but no one could have predicted that - it was a nightmare.
"The shooting came out of nowhere. We heard a screech of tyres, a long volley of shots then a car sped off. It was utterly shocking.
"It was a miracle neither Shayne nor any of the crew were injured - the shooting was so close to where they all were.
"Shayne was really shaken but he took it upon himself to go and speak to each member of the crew one by one to make sure they were OK.
"He was really concerned about everyone and anxious about the guy who was shot."
The shot man was taken to hospital and Shayne is now safely back in Blighty.
Phew.
