It's been reported that Tom Cruise has been taken for a ride.
And it was in the worst possible taste.
Somebody has prayed on his kindness...
It's the kind of story that makes you sick in the tum.
Apparently a bloke posing as Heath Ledger's grieving dad chatted on the phone to Tom.
The pair had several several convos, with Tom consoling him over Heath's death.
It seems the Mission: Impossible star eventually became suspicious but he wasn't the only one to have the wool pulled over his eyes.
The faker also got the better of John Travolta.
The chap asked John to buy him a plane ticket from Australia to New York - the cheek of it.
The cruel guy even went as far as persuading the funeral home to book him into a top hotel.
Let's hope he's found something more worthwhile to do with his time now.
