He was said to be "furious" about recent allegations that Sienna was partying all night with the also newly fancy-free P Diddy.
A friend of the singer told the Sunday Mirror: "Things have been difficult for a while.
"He is based in New York, she has been in London and they don't get to spend that much time together because they are both so busy.
"It is difficult to communicate on the phone."
Oh well, at least she'll have her pal P Diddy to console her.
