The truth is that Simon Cowell is very far from it.

According to The People, Simon and his partner, Terri Seymour, were believed to be heading to splitsville.

But we heard the truth from the horse's mouth - his publicist in the UK, Max Clifford.

Max told Sky Showbiz: "There's nothing in it, it's a rumour that's been going on for the last year or so.

"It's come up now because she's buying her own place, so everybody's been sniffing around since then.

"And if he goes anywhere on his own, like the Joe Calzaghe boxing match, well... She doesn't like boxing.

"So that's really what it is, people putting two and two together and making six. They were together last night when I spoke to them."
